    Requirements / Qualifications

    In order to be eligible for this position, candidates must possess either a Single Subject Credential in Home Economics or a CTE Credential in Home Economics, Culinary Hospitality & Tourism Recreation. When submitting a copy of your credential, please submit the CTC version with detailed view of all authorizations. 1. Possession of a baccalaureate degree or higher from a regionally accredited college or university. 2. Satisfy the basic skills requirement. 3. Successful completion of course work for the permit type requested, as specified below: A degree major in-Home Economics or at least 18 semester units in Home Economics from a regionally accredited university. The district is committed to supporting candidates throughout the hiring process. If selected to be hired, we will cover the costs associated with fingerprints required for employment and acquiring a valid TB Test if necessary. It s important to note that if you do not currently possess a valid certificate of clearance through the CTC (California Commission on Teacher Credentialing), you will be responsible for the associated fees required for fingerprints and obtaining the necessary permit/credential. Once the interview process is completed, successful candidates will receive an invitation to attend a mandatory compensated orientation. This event will provide valuable information and insights related to the position and our organization.

    Please include the following to the extent possible: - Current Resume - Copies of College Transcripts (verification of a bachelor s degree with Home Economics units) - Credential Copy from CTC website if available or ability to obtain - English Learner Authorization if available or ability to obtain - Copy of a valid CA Single Subject in Home Economics or CTE Credential in Home Economics.
