JOB DESCRIPTION
To maintain the school buildings and efficient management of the facility as to usefulness, appearance, safety hazards, cleanliness, and minor repairs not requiring skilled tradesman. Other job-related duties will be assigned. The substitute custodian will perform all duties of the position within the scope of Kiona-Benton City School District policies and procedures.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here represent those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit, kneel or crouch, bend and twist, use hands to type, finger handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arm manually, keyboard, and talk/hear conversations and other sounds. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50-75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
The noise level in this work environment is moderate. It may be dusty. The person may be required to spend time in the outside elements as required to perform his/her position.
