Substitute Custodian

The Custodial Services support team works hard at keeping a clean and healthy environment for the students and staff. They not only clean but they also assist with lunch duties. They clean up after school games and help with the set up for school events such as concerts and holiday events. The custodians at each school make sure the snow and ice is removed in the winter from the sidewalks and areas that need it.

Position Summary: Responsible for carrying out the duties of the Custodian for whom he/she is substituting. Responsible for working effectively with a team comprised of paraprofessionals, teachers, administrators, parents and District office staff with the purpose of providing quality educational services for each and every student, each and every day, without exception. Under basic supervision, performs a variety of custodial tasks to maintain a high standard of safety and sanitation throughout District facilities, grounds, and buildings. Duties may vary according to job assignment.
