The Substitute Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and secure school environment during the temporary absence of a regular custodian. Responsibilities include cleaning classrooms, restrooms, offices, hallways, cafeterias, and common areas; setting up and breaking down rooms for school activities; removing trash; restocking supplies; performing light maintenance tasks; and assisting with building safety and security as needed. The successful candidate must be dependable, able to work independently, and capable of performing the physical duties required of custodial work while following district policies and procedures.
