    Job Description

    The North Reading Public Schools is seeking interested applicants to serve as daily substitutes. The successful candidate will work with the substitute assignment system known as Frontline (formerly Aesop) to accept open assignments as needed at one of the five schools in the the North Reading School District. Once assigned the substitute should report to the assigned building''s main office 15 minutes before the start of the school day.

    Responsibilities

    • Support students and staff during the school day;
    • Guide student learning through provided lesson plans and/or classroom support;
    • Other needs as requested by the Building Principal

    Requirements

    • High School diploma or GED required
    • Bachelor''s degree or two years of college education is preferred
    • Work with youth, teaching, and/or in an education setting preferred
    • Citizenship, residency or work visa required
