Substitute Food Service Worker

Seeking well qualified Food Service Substitutes to provide food service assistance as needed.

Food Service workers cover a variety of shifts as needed at various school locations. Some shifts start as early as 6:30 am, while other positions start at 10:00 am and end by 1:00 or 1:30 pm.

1. Food preparation and serving skills.

2. Communicate effectively and professionally with students, parents, teachers, principals, and co-workers.

3. Cash handling, makes correct change, and count money accurately.

4. Computer skills to process electronic lunch cashier system.

5. Work independently with minimal supervision.

6. Perform cleaning procedures and properly use chemicals.

7. Team player- able to learn and perform other tasks to assist co-workers, reliable; self-motivated.

8. Perform other duties as assigned.

We serve over 2,800 students starting with Early Childhood programs, 4-K, 5-K, and grades 1 through 12. The district covers about 264 square miles in Sauk and Juneau counties. We take pride in providing a safe learning environment for our students and staff.
