Substitute Kitchen Worker

The K-12 Substitute Kitchen Worker is a part-time, as-needed position supporting school food service operations across all Tallmadge City School buildings. Key responsibilities include assisting with meal prep, serving food, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety compliance.

• Assist in preparing and serving meals according to menus.
• Follow sanitation and safety protocols.
• Clean kitchen areas and dishware.
• Help with food storage and inventory.
• Monitor meal portions and assist with cashiering if needed.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• 
  Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred), food service experience is a plus, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Must lift up to 50 pounds, follow safety guidelines, and pass background checks. Flexibility and teamwork are essential for this role.
