Substitute Teacher Position

Salary:

• $125.00 per day

Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction and manage classroom environments in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Perform all duties of the regular teacher, including adhering to the Board of Education approved curriculum.
• Report to the principal at the assigned location.

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid DESE teaching certificate or substitute teaching certificate.
• DESE requires a $50 application fee for a substitute teaching certificate.
• FBI criminal history background check with fingerprints is required.
• It is suggested to wait until hiring before completing the background check to use the District's specific code.

Terms of Employment:

• Substitutes work as needed and may select available jobs as their schedules allow; substitutes are not eligible for benefits.
• Start date will be determined upon completion of the hiring and onboarding process.

Hourly Pay Rates:

• Cafeteria Aide: $15.59 per hour
• Custodian: $15.67 per hour
• Administrative Assistant: Guidance AA, Secretary Site Office & Admin Bldg Front desk $16.23 per hour
• Administrative Assistant: AA- Activities $18.12
• Administrative Assistant: AA- Site Admin $18.83
• Behavior Support Specialist - $18.14
• BIS (early childhood & Elementary) - $17.43
• BIS (middle) $18.12
• BIS (high) $18.83
• Hall Monitor $16.19
• Preschool Class Assistant $16.19
• Para, Personal Assistant, ECSE Para & Recess Para: $16.85 per hour
• Recess Assistant $15.70

• Report to the designated supervisor at the assigned location.
