Provide substitute nursing coverage for absent or vacant nursing positions serving students across the district.

The Salary Range for a Substitute Nurse is Min $27.05 - Max $27.05 per hour. Substitutes will accrue 1 hour of sick leave for every 40 hours worked. Substitutes who work 630 hours will become benefit eligible for the remainder of the school year. Standard benefits include: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and Long-Term Disability. After your initial screening, if selected, you will be invited to come to the District Office for substitute orientation which includes completing the fingerprint process. All selected candidates must be Board Approved.
Verification of identity and United States work authorization must be completed before employment commences. The successful candidate for this position must be fingerprinted. Employment is contingent upon clearance by the Washington State Patrol and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
