Summary The primary responsibility of the para educator is to assist the teacher in helping the students develop appropriate academic skills, self-management skills, and interaction skills. The para educator will be involved in providing an educational program and environment which promotes developmentally appropriate learning and personal growth to assist students in fulfilling their academic potential.
