Job Summary

The Substitute Campus Supervisor provides temporary, as-needed support to help maintain a safe, secure, and orderly school environment. Under the direction of site administration, substitutes monitor student behavior and activities during school hours, including before and after school, recess, lunch periods, passing periods, and school events. Responsibilities include supervising students in designated areas, promoting positive behavior, enforcing school rules and safety procedures, addressing minor conflicts, reporting incidents, and assisting with campus security and visitor monitoring. Work assignments may vary by school site and schedule based on district needs. This position requires the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and the public while maintaining a professional, calm, and consistent presence that supports a positive learning environment. Under general supervision, the Campus Supervisor performs a variety of unskilled or semi-skilled tasks related to the upkeep, cleanliness, and basic maintenance of school buildings and grounds. In addition to custodial support, this role includes monitoring student behavior, assisting with conflict resolution, enforcing school rules, and providing general supervision during passing periods, lunch, and other non-classroom times. The ideal candidate will be dependable, proactive, and committed to promoting a safe and welcoming school environment.

Substitute employees provide temporary, on-call support to help maintain clean, safe, and orderly school environments and may be assigned to various district sites based on operational needs. Assignments are offered on an as-needed basis to fill in for absent employees, support special projects, or address staffing needs. Work schedules, locations, and hours may vary and are not guaranteed. This is an on-call substitute position and is not eligible for District health benefits or other permanent employee benefits.
