Substitute Paraprofessionals - Special Education

WFB School District is seeking exceptional substitutes for Special Education Aides for the school year! Work the hours and days that fit into your schedule while helping support our excellent students and staff! In this role you will be assisting teachers in achieving academic and physical objectives with Special Education Students. This position is a non-benefit eligible position and you must currently hold or be willing to obtain a Special Education Program Aide License (District will pay license fee) .

Working under the direction of teachers, the ideal candidate is flexible, shows initiative, has a sense of humor and uses a positive frame to nurture and support student growth and development. Duties may include:

• Attend to the healthcare/physical needs of students.
• Assist students with completion of assignments.
• Guide and supervise students, maintain a positive learning environment and maintain confidentiality.
• Work with students individually, in small groups and within the classroom.
• Maintain established routines and procedures

Reasonable and reliable attendance is a requirement of this position/job.

The final candidate must successfully complete/pass a criminal background check, pre-employment requirements, and hiring paperwork.
