Substitute Summer Program Special Education Teachers plan, coordinate and carry out specialized instruction implementing a variety of strategies and methodologies in academics, social emotional learning and other areas as identified on the Individual Education Program. Special Education teachers collaborate with other service providers and parents, collect data on student performance and progress, provide oversight of assigned paraprofessionals and ensure the overall safety of students.

Time: 8:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., Monday-Thursday (K-12+) 8:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m., Monday-Thursday (PreK)
Final appointments and assignments of staff will be based on the number of students enrolled and participating in the Special Education summer program. The frequency and duration of the workday may be adjusted, within the schedules identified above, to accommodate individual student service needs.
