Position: Substitute Public Relations Officer (PRO) Location: Districtwide - Van Derveer Elementary School, Somerville Middle School, & Somerville High School Available: Immediately
Qualifications: • NJ Department of Education Substitute Teacher Certification Required. Visit the NJ Department of Education Certification website to apply for or renew your substitute certification! • Law Enforcement Experience preferred • Graduation from a Police Academy
Responsibilities: Responsible for monitoring access to the school building Knowledge of security measures, fire prevention, and crowd control Ability to maintain order and to work with groups and individuals on matters of security and crisis management
Salary: Substitute are employed at the per diem rate of $160.00 with a maximum of four (4) days per week.
