Substitute Teacher: 2026-2027 School Year

Honor School District is seeking enthusiastic, dependable, and student-centered individuals to join our team of substitute teachers for the 2026-2027 school year. Substitute teachers play an important role in maintaining a positive learning environment and ensuring continuity of instruction when classroom teachers and paraprofessionals are absent.

We are looking for individuals who:

• Foster a safe, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment.
• Follow lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher.
• Maintain effective classroom management and positive student relationships.
• Communicate professionally with students, staff, and administration.
• Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to work with students in grades 4K-8.

Qualifications:

• Hold or be eligible to obtain a valid Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) Substitute Teaching License or Wisconsin Teaching License.
• Ability to successfully complete a background check and all district employment requirements.

• Position: Substitute Teacher
• Location: Honor Elementary and Honor Intermediate
• Schedule: On-call, as needed
• Start Date: August 2026
• Compensation: $135 per day
