Substitute Teacher 2026/2027- St. Raphael Catholic School

**Job Summary:**
St. Raphael Catholic School is looking for a dedicated Substitute Teacher to join the team on an as-needed basis. The Substitute Teacher will be responsible for following lesson plans, maintaining a positive classroom environment, and ensuring student learning in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.

**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Teaching certificate or substitute teacher permit
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a classroom and engage with students effectively
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different classroom settings

**Responsibilities:**
- Follow lesson plans provided by the absent teacher
- Manage the classroom environment to ensure a positive and productive learning experience
- Implement effective teaching strategies to facilitate student learning
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere
- Communicate with school staff and administrators as needed
- Provide feedback on student behavior and academic performance
- Uphold school policies and procedures
- Complete any necessary paperwork or reports related to the day's activities

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a Level 2 background screening.
