Kenosha Unified is looking for individuals to join our team as substitute teachers for the 2025-26 school year.
This role affords you the ability to provide excellent, challenging learning opportunities and experiences to students in the district. Individuals who have an associate degree or higher and desire a flexible schedule are encouraged to apply.
Applications will be reviewed regularly and interviews will be scheduled. It may take some time for a Representative to contact you about your application as we have many to review. Thank you for your patience.
Note:
Our pre-employment process requires applicants to submit official transcripts for their degree. Once you apply, you may want to request those documents from your school in anticipation of an interview and possible hire if you do not have them currently. Official transcripts are required.
Substitute Teachers can work full- or part-time based on their availability. During your interview we will discuss how substitute teachers locate positions and schedule their time.
If you do not have a Substitute Teaching license, the district will provide online training so that you may apply for one through the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. You do not need the license prior to applying.
