The Little Chute Area School District is seeking substitutes for vacancies of teacher aides to work with students at the Elementary, Intermediate and High School Level under the direction and support of teaching staff. The primary focus of this position will be to provide support for students in classrooms, small groups and on supervision. The ideal candidate will have a background in working with children and possibly students with with emotional, behavioral, and/or learning disabilities who require individual instruction and crisis management. We are seeking positive, energetic, and flexible teacher aide substitutes to work with students when there is a vacancy. Individuals must demonstrate an interest in children and education. They must have evidence of the emotional maturity and stability necessary for the specialized work involved in this position. This position requires the individual to have a high level of initiative and classroom management skills.
School preference can be shared during the hiring process.
