What You''ll Do

  • Assist teachers in providing instructional and behavioral support to students receiving special education services.
  • Work one-on-one or with small groups of students to reinforce classroom instruction.
  • Help students participate successfully in classroom activities and daily routines.
  • Encourage positive behavior, independence, and social interaction.
  • Support students with communication, mobility, personal care, or health-related needs as assigned.
  • Assist with classroom organization, instructional materials, and learning activities.
  • Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Follow student support plans and maintain confidentiality at all times.
