Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education preferred.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to adapt to various teaching environments.
Essential Functions:
- Implement lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher, ensuring that learning objectives are met.
- Maintain a positive and structured classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Manage student behavior effectively, addressing any issues in accordance with school policy.
- Recess duty as needed.
Applications will be reviewed by an Administrator. If you receive notification from the district office that you are selected to be a Substitute Teacher, you will receive instructions via email to complete the Expanded Criminal History Check with DCS Search.
