Substitute Teacher (Class will be held on September 9th)

How to become a substitute teacher:Submit an application for Substitute Teacher.Complete and upload the GCIC Consent Form. (prior to class)Successfully complete Substitute Teacher training session.Complete and pass a criminal background check by fingerprinting.Training will be held on September 9, 2026 at the Board Office located at 1411 College Street, Monticello, GA 31064.Please bring a copy of your Driver's License, SS card, Voided check or official letter from bank with routing and account number, and $44.00 (CASH and Exact change) for fingerprinting.  Also bring either your High School Diploma or College Transcripts (if needed you can have them emailed to me or mailed to the BOE) dvanderven@jasper.k12.ga.usThe Substitute training class will include a session conducted by Middle Georgia RESA followed by the completion of employment paperwork.  For questions, please contact Derek Vander Ven at the above email.  Thank you for your interest in the Jasper County Charter System.
