Substitute Teacher

In absence of the classroom teacher, to provide students with learning activities designed to help them fulfill their potential while carrying out the plans of the teacher.Qualifications include a High School diploma or above. TN Educator's License preferred or retired teacher.Requirements include the ability to instruct students and manage their behavior, as well as a strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.The salary is paid on a 3 tier scale depending on education and active licensure.The substitute is required to maintain decorum and professionalism as well as following all rules and regulations. All subs are under the supervision of the building administrator while present at work.  A more comprehensive job description is attached.
