Simsbury Public Schools is seeking dedicated, flexible, and student-centered educators to serve as Building Substitute Teachers at all levels. This position offers the opportunity to become an integral part of one school community while providing consistent instructional support when classroom teachers are absent.

As a Building Substitute Teacher, you will report to the same school each day and work collaboratively with administrators, teachers, and staff to ensure a positive and productive learning environment for all students.

Qualifications

  • Valid Connecticut Teaching Certificate required.
  • Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a variety of grade levels and subject areas.
  • Commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
  • Dependable, professional, and collaborative.

Compensation & Benefits
