Job Summary: Substitute Teacher - Countywide

Qualifications:

  • West Virginia Professional Certificate or West Virginia Substitute Teaching Permit
  • Complete all required county and West Virginia Department of Education trainings
  • Ability to perform the job duties and responsibilities as contained in the Job Description, with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Additional Minimum Requirements:
  • Applicants who have recent unsatisfactory evaluations will not be eligible for consideration.
  • Applicants who demonstrate unsatisfactory interview performance are not eligible for consideration.
  • Applicants who receive unfavorable reference recommendations are not eligible for consideration.

Salary: Based on the 2026-2027 salary scale - commensurate with experience and education
