How you’ll be there for students:
Be their steady hand.
As a Substitute Teacher with Catapult Learning, you’ll step in to ensure instructional continuity and student success in the absence of regular teaching staff. Whether covering for a day or an extended period, you’ll play a key role in maintaining a structured and engaging learning environment that supports student growth.

As a Substitute Teacher with Catapult Learning, you will:
Deliver instruction based on existing lesson plans or guided materials provided by Catapult Learning or school staff.
Maintain established classroom routines, procedures, and expectations.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for learning.
Provide instructional support to students individually or in small groups.
Track and report attendance, behavior, and instructional feedback as directed.
Communicate with school personnel and Catapult Learning staff regarding student needs or classroom updates.
Follow school and program guidelines to ensure learning continuity.
Other duties as assigned.

What we’ll need from you:

Bachelor’s degree required
Education experience
Experience teaching or supporting instruction in a classroom setting (preferred)
Ability to quickly adapt to new classroom environments and routines
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Unwavering belief that all children can learn
Basic proficiency with technology platforms for record keeping and communication
