QUALIFICATION:
You must first meet the following criteria:
You must hold a current Wisconsin DPI teaching or substitute teacher license.
If you do not hold a current Wisconsin DPI teaching or substitute teacher license, you must hold an Associate''s Degree or higher complete an approved one-day workshop designed specifically for degreed, non-certified participants (this will enable you to obtain a Wisconsin DPI Substitute Permit).

A Substitute Teacher has an important and challenging task of ensuring continuous instructional development in the classroom. This can be done more effectively if there is an understanding of the responsibilities and interrelationships between the Substitute and the school.
