Substitute Teacher / Miscellaneous Building Substitute

Job Description:

Located in an idyllic setting in the northernmost corner of Fairfield County, Connecticut, The Sherman School is a small, PK-8 school with approximately 230 students and 60 dedicated faculty and staff members. We offer small class sizes, and wonderful resources to support our programs.

Title: Building Substitute

Qualifications: Bachelors Degree Required. Connecticut Teaching Certification Preferred. Love of children; interest in helping children learn; flexibility; ability to follow directions carefully; desire to work with people; an organized approach to tasks; positive and respectful regard for public education; promptness; high personal standards and a desire to perform work of high quality; good work attendance record; ability to maintain confidentiality.

Reports to: Building Administration

Hours

• 8:00 AM - 3:15 PM
• Five days per week

Compensation:

• $125 per day
