Job Description
We are seeking reliable and motivated Substitute Teachers to support classrooms when regular teachers are absent. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with children and youth, possess strong classroom management skills, and have completed at least 48 college credit hours.
Substitute teachers play an important role in maintaining continuity in the classroom by following lesson plans, supervising students, and ensuring a positive learning environment. Flexible scheduling and competitive daily pay are offered.
Responsibilities
Deliver lesson plans left by the regular teacher or provide instruction as directed by school administration
Maintain a positive, respectful, and productive classroom environment
Supervise students in classrooms, hallways, lunchrooms, and other common areas
Follow all school procedures and policies
Communicate with school staff regarding student needs or issues
Provide feedback or written reports on the day s activities, if required
Minimum Requirements
Minimum of 48 college credit hours
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Ability to work effectively with students and school staff
Must obtain the appropriate substitute teaching certificate
Certification Requirements
Applicants must hold or obtain one of the following certificates to substitute teach:
Local Substitute Certificate for individuals who do not hold a teaching certificate
State Substitute Certificate or Teaching Certificate for individuals who hold a teaching degree
