Substitute Teacher / Substitute Teacher in All Subject Areas Building Substitute

Job Description:

Location: Tuttle Elementary

Responsibilities: Building substitutes provide instructional coverage for staff absences. Building substitutes will be assigned to a particular school for the entire school year.

• A Bachelors Degree is required, CT certification is preferred.

Per CT State guidelines, if you do not have a Bachelors degree then a waiver can be submitted if you meet the following criteria:

• At least 18 years of age
• Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Have had experience working with school aged children

This position is a 10 month position. Qualified candidates will be paid $150.00/day for the 2026-2027 School Year.
