The Hmong American Peace Academy (HAPA) is a standout public charter school serving the needs of more than 2000 K4 through 12th-grade scholars in Milwaukee. HAPA has been recognized on the local, state, and national levels for our commitment to academic excellence as well as for teaching and celebrating the Hmong Culture. We welcome applicants for the 2026-2027 school year who are interested in working in an academic setting where we hold high academic standards, our scholars are recognized for their respectful conduct, and where we value the importance of supporting teaching and learning in all settings.
Interested applicants should submit a cover letter, resume, 3 letters of recommendation (must be signed), copy of your transcript, and copy of your Wisconsin teaching license certificate to Mai Shoua Xiong at xiong.maishoua@myhapa.org.
