Substitute Teachers needed

QUALIFICATIONS:1. Must have minimum 60 college credit hours.

NATURE OF THE POSITION:

To implement the instructional program, in the absence of the certified teacher, to ensure that all students meet and exceed the State Core Curriculum Content Standards. Achieving excellence requires that the substitute teacher works collaboratively and communicates effectively with fellow teachers, students, parents, and co-workers.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF POSITION:

1. Being on time to the school to receive lesson plans and instructions for the day.
2. Implementing through instruction and action the teachers' lesson plans.
3. Establishing and maintaining a classroom environment conducive to learning by employing a variety of appropriate teaching strategies.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Satisfactory criminal background check.
