Substitute Teachers - St. Patrick Catholic School

Job Summary:

We are seeking Substitute Teachers to provide instruction in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. The Substitute Teacher will follow lesson plans provided by the absent teacher.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field preferred
• Teaching certification or substitute teacher certification required
• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to adapt to various teaching styles and environments
• Flexibility and availability to work on short notice

Responsibilities:

• Follow lesson plans left by the regular classroom teacher
• Maintain a safe and positive learning environment
• Manage classroom behavior and discipline when necessary
• Provide instruction to students in various subjects
• Communicate with school administrators and staff as needed
• Complete all required paperwork and reports

Additional Requirements:

• Completion of Level II Background Screenings and Safe Environment Trainings
• Compliance with all school policies and procedures
• Willingness to commit to on-call or short-notice assignments
• Ability to build rapport with students and staff effectively
