Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Early Career Systems Design & Installation Engineer. In this role, you may:

• Design the installation of aircraft Mechanical Systems including but not limited to Hydraulics and Pneumatics Subsystems routing, Environmental Control Systems (ECS), fuel line routing, Escape System Subcomponent, etc.
• Conduct trade studies and evaluate alternatives - optimizing form, fit, and function of the mechanical systems installations
• Define, develop, and finalize mechanical layouts and systems interfaces
• Create Build-to-Packages for detailed parts, assemblies and installations
• Design the installation of aircraft Equipment and Crew Station hardware of Line Replacement Units (LRUs), Control Panels, other cockpit systems (displays, radios, etc) and their supporting hardwareThe successful candidate will have experience with CATIA, SolidWorks, or other CAD applications. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Aerospace Engineering
• Experience with CATIA, SolidWorks, or other CAD applications

Desired Skills

• Experience with metallic design
• Experience with hand analysis for initial part layout
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Office

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $58200.00 - $108200.00

• Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
• For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
