Responsible for all bartenders guest checks, tip outs, and buffet stickers.
Essential Job Functions:
Handles cash and makes correct change for bartenders on cash tickets.
Closes all bartenders tickets to correct tender.
Pays out gratuities equitably to bartenders.
Accepts leftover buffet stickers and credits correct number to waitstaff.
Reconciles cash drawers and cash sheets.
Picks up and drops off bank and cash sheets to Food & Beverage money room.
Organizes and delivers paperwork to night auditor.
Informs night auditor of any problems during shift either verbally or in writing before clocking out for the day.
Consistently and accurately follows cash handling and financial responsibility procedures.
Dependability, good attendance, and occasional overtime required.
May be required to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and/or mandatory work days as scheduled.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education:
Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college/technical; or 1 years related experience and/or training; or combination.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Possess good organization skills.
Basic math.
Ability to communicate and follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to interact positively with coworkers and management.
Ability to prioritize time so that work is accomplished on a dependable basis; is reliable and committed to meeting schedules and deadlines.
Ability to demonstrate initiative, including being proactive and resourceful, working independently with minimum supervision.
Ability to win confidence and gain respect through consistent demonstrations of personal courtesy, tact and timely responsiveness.
Training:
One year of cashier experience required
Licenses/Certifications/Other:
Must be able to pass a background check and receive a license or permit from any Regulatory Agency if applicable to perform the essential job functions
