Summer 2026: Academic Program Instructors

Minuteman is seeking instructors for a variety of academic classes. Courses are subject to sufficient enrollment. Courses with low enrollment may be canceled prior to the start date. Major Responsibilities:

• Implement and design program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of students.
• Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and student records.
• Prepare instructional materials, assignments, and assessments.
• Support credit recovery, remediation, or enrichment goals depending on the summer program structure.

Qualifications:

• Prior teaching or substitute teaching experience required.
• Knowledge of the Massachusetts Frameworks for subject area.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.

Additional Requirements:

• This position includes but is not limited to: interacting with the public, walking around the school, standing for periods, occasionally lifting and carrying items, reading documents, using a computer, listening and speaking, using office equipment, maintaining energy throughout the day, and handling stress effectively.

Terms of Employment:

• Part-Time.
• Academic courses: 7/6/26-7/24/26.
• Hours will vary based on District and student needs.
• Typical workday is from 7:45am - 2:45pm.

Effective Dates of Employment:

• July 6, 2026 - July 24, 2026.

Compensation:

• Hourly rate: $65.00.
