Job Description:

  • Provide customer services
  • Assist in meeting the department's customer service objectives
  • Prepare food according to instructions
  • Complete Serving Line Worksheets
  • Set-up service/preparation areas
  • Replenish service/preparation areas
  • Dishwashing
  • Cashiering
  • Assist in receiving food items, paper goods, and other related items
  • Inventory in storerooms, freezers, and coolers
  • Keeping storage areas secure
  • Keep docks, receiving, storage, and laundry areas neat and tidy
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, safe, and secure working area
  • Complete required training
  • Help the department constantly improve and reach its vision
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary: $15 hourly

University Title: Student Assistant Crafts and Service

Internal applicants can determine their University title by accessing the Talent Profile tile in myHR.

Shift

Various times and days including weekends. Potential late evening shifts included. Depending on the unit. We will work around your class schedule. Students are not required to work during winter break, spring break, or summer.

Minimum Qualifications

Must be a current or incoming student of MU.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior food preparation

Prior food service experience

Processing sales

Retail experience

Barista

ServSafe Certification

AOS or Certified Sous Chef
