About the position

Gulfstream engineering interns in Innovation, Engineering and Flight are an integral part of the engineering staff, contributing to projects that are both technically challenging and educationally stimulating.

We are looking for all levels of educational experience -from undergraduates to masters and PhD students-who are seeking professional experience in a state-of-the-art engineering environment. If you are looking to gain professional experience and are passionate about aviation and engineering, you will be intrigued by the opportunities we give interns across almost 40 different departments that support Innovation, Engineering, and Flight.

Engineering departments you may be considered for

• Flight Operations

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• This position will support the Gulfstream Flight Operations organization to improve efficiency across the companys Gulfstream fleet.
• Interns will interface with the Flight Operations Supervisor, Directors, Chief Pilots, Dispatch Senior Manager and VP of Flight Ops to complete projects that enhance processes and efficiencies for all mission-specific Gulfstream fleets (e.g., production test, demonstration, Airborne Customer Support).
• Complete assigned projects and work plans that include - but are not limited to - flight safety systems, business intelligence/analytics, flight operations, and aeronautical, mechanical, or systems engineering.
• Support efficient work practices and processes.

Education and Other Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a college aviation program such as pilot training, aircraft dispatch, business aviation, or a related field.

• Must be available to work on-site in Savannah, GA during the Summer 2027 semester, beginning in May 2027.

• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 (without rounding); must be listed on resume.

Additional Functions

• Comply with safety rules and procedures.
• Ensure application of all Gulfstream regulations and policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
