Responsibilities:

The intern selected for this role will join a highly skilled team of business analysts working in Agency Services. Agency Services coordinates and administers agent contracts, including licensing, compensation, incentives, awards, promotions, and sales leader compensation.

The Business Analysts on this dynamic team collaborate with product lines, technology partners, and other enterprise areas on initiatives that impact how the company supports, compensates, and incentivizes agents and sales leaders to drive results in alignment with enterprise goals. They also partner with market area leadership and corporate agency executives to facilitate connections across Agency/Marketing to ensure holistic solutions are delivered. 

 

The selected intern can expect to:

• Support assigned projects by identifying and developing solutions to operation and process-related issues, including workflows between agents, associates, Agency/Sales departments, and external business partners. 
• Assist in developing clear, engaging materials and communications for internal Agency audiences and the field to support business initiatives, share key information, and promote understanding.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and business partners while gaining exposure to different areas of the organization and building broader understanding of business operations.

Serve on a collaborative project team dedicated to achieving results in alignment with department and enterprise goals and modernization.

Qualifications:

An Ideal Candidate:

• Is a junior or senior pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Communications, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • NOTE: To be eligible for the summer internship program, candidates must be a full-time student currently enrolled in an undergraduate or post-graduate program at least throughout the duration of the internship.
• Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Builds relationships, collaborates effectively with others, and works successfully in a hybrid team environment.
• Embraces a growth mindset by seeking feedback, taking on new challenges, and continuously learning and developing.
• Demonstrates curiosity by asking thoughtful questions, exploring new ideas, and seeking to better understand the business.
• Is proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Summer Internship Dates: 6/2/2027 -8/11/2027 (10 weeks)

Hours: Monday-Friday, 38.75 hours per week

Due to the short duration of the summer program, it is an expectation that hired interns will be available for the duration of the summer internship with little to no disruption in work schedule.

Pay: $28.00/hr. - In addition, interns selected for our summer internship program will be eligible for a $2,000 stipend!

Work Arrangement: Hybrid - 2 days per week - occasionally there may be other days based on work and meeting dates. Please note that relocation benefits will not apply.
