An internship with our company is a great opportunity to build your skillset and explore your career interests. Our summer student internship is a 10 to 14 week program that starts in mid May and ends in August. During your internship, you'll work on impactful projects that make a difference at our company, with our customers, and in our communities.
You'll also gain exposure to different areas of our business and have numerous opportunities for networking and coaching.
Interns may be eligible for a one-time hiring bonus to assist with housing costs depending upon proximity to an our company office location.
Compensation Minimum: $25.00
Compensation Maximum: $39.00
Responsibilities
- Develop an understanding of our business, corporate culture and structure to support your work.
- Contribute creative ideas and strategic approaches in response to changing situations.
- Help drive line of business results by assisting the line of business with change management, process documentation, communication, quality auditing, data analysis, and other tasks as needed.
- Help provide the root cause analysis of loss results to stakeholders and provide actionable recommendations for improvements.
Requirements
- Must be in student status at an accredited 4-year college or university during the internship, graduating August 2027 or later.
- Must be pursuing a Bachelors, Masters, or PhD.
- Major/program must align with internship role.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in SQL & Google Cloud Platform
- Proficient in Excel
- Foundational understanding of data manipulation and reporting
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Superb interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and quickly change focus as business needs evolve
- Passionate about learning new things and taking on new challenges
Additional Information
- To ensure a strong start, all employees participate in our New Employee Orientation during their first week. This experience is held in person at our Madison, WI Headquarters or one of our AmFam core locations to help you connect with our mission, meet key team members and build relationships that support your growth. At times, sessions may be delivered virtually based on scheduling and availability.
