  • Gain hands-on exposure to the State Farm corporate bond trading function (responsible for executing approximately $20 billion in transactions annually) and participate in simulated transaction exercises.
  • Research and contribute to team discussions related to the responsibilities of the approximately $60 billion structured products and liquidity portfolio.

What You’ll Learn and Gain

  • Apply classroom knowledge to the management of a large, institutional investor's fixed income portfolio.

  • Collaborate and build relationships with other talented interns.
  • Strengthen analytical, communication and presentation skills.
Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and risk assessment skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as operate independently.
  • Effective customer service and interpersonal skills, including the ability to create, build, and maintain relationships with internal and external parties.
  • Excellent influencing, problem-solving, and communication skills.
