Job Description:
Baker Tilly is currently seeking International Tax Interns for 2027.
Our interns gain knowledge of the firm's tax Advisory practices through working with multiple clients across a variety of industries.
International Tax Interns assist multinational clients and high net worth individuals by performing transactional and functional analysis, transfer pricing analysis, US domestic and foreign tax planning, sourcing of income and foreign credit planning, research on international tax consulting and compliance issues, and other projects as assigned.
Qualifications:Education - Currently enrolled or pursuing a bachelor's degree program in Accounting or a related business discipline from an accredited institution.
- JD/LLM or Masters of Taxation preferred
- Must have at least one academic term remaining following completion of the internship.
Experience No prior professional experience is required. Previous internship, academic, leadership, volunteer, customer service, or other relevant experience and demonstrated interest in accounting, or professional services are preferred.
Certifications / Licensure Required:
- For accounting majors, on track to meet the educational requirements for CPA exam eligibility prior to the start of a full-time Associate position.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer-sponsored visa sponsorship, now or in the future.
- A resume and unofficial transcript(s) are required as part of the application process.
- Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
Knowledge & Technical Skills - Foundational accounting knowledge developed through academic coursework.
