Summer interns work on current, real-world projects and initiatives with their teams.Responsibilities:Assist CMA professionals with:Analyzing market data, comparables and trends, to provide guidance on pricing and structures for a variety of new transaction scenarios (leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, refinancings, repricings, etc.)Preparing materials to assist in obtaining underwriting approvalsAssisting in the preparation of transaction marketing materialsPreparing market research presentationsManaging departmental reporting and record keepingPresenting thoughtful recommendations and analyses within and across teamsProfile (What we're looking for)Undergraduate college student, graduating in 2028 in pursuit of a bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, engineering, or related field. Graduate students may also be considered for certain roles.Liberal arts majors interested in careers in finance and banking are welcome to apply.Experience / Knowledge:Prior internship and/or relevant financial experience preferred.Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, and especially Excel)Financial modeling and credit writing exposure are helpful, but not required.VBA and/or programming skills are a plus, but not requiredCompetencies:You are an enthusiastic and highly focused individualHigh level of performance motivation, and eagerness to learnStrong multi-tasking, analytical, and problem-solving skillsFlexibility and stress resilience, ability to deliver high quality work within tight deadlinesInitiative to understand different products and contribute across the organizationOpenness to diverse work experience and perspectives within CMAExcellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to express ideas in a persuasive, organized, and articulate mannerHourly Rate: $45/hour Status: Full-time; Paid (Seasonal) Start Date: June 2027 (10 Week Summer Internship) ING is a committed equal opportunity employer.
