The Fidelity Intern Program (FIDTERN Program) 

Fidelity’s full-time, paid, 10-week FIDTERN Program offers students the opportunity to contribute to meaningful, real-world work and projects as valued members of a dedicated team.  

These positions are only located in Chicago, IL | Denver, CO | Westlake, TX

Our program is designed to provide students with a firsthand experience of what it’s like to work here full-time. The Role 

Seeking students studying actuarial science or quantitative finance who are analytical and enjoy problem solving. The Intern Consultant works with Senior Associates Consultants to provide advice to clients regarding their benefit programs with an initial emphasis in defined benefit plans. We work with you to develop financial, business, and consultative skills. Your career path could range from a pension actuarial focus to a broad client strategy role, guiding finance, and human resource executives regarding their retirement, health and welfare, and employee communication needs. 

The Expertise and Skills You Bring 

• Mathematics, Actuarial Science or quantitative subject major preferred  

• Strong writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills  

• Intellectual curiosity, creativity, along with analytical and problem-solving skills  

• A high aptitude to learn new things quickly and adapt to new situations while being inventive and prioritizing responsibilities  

• Critical thinking skills 

• Current college student undergraduate who will return to coursework after their summer internship 

• Availability for entire 10-week program from June 7th – August 13th, 2027

The base salary range for this position is $20 - $32 per hour.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
