TITLE: Summer Youth Art Program

WORK SCHEDULE: To be determined

GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

To provide and enhance the community through Art.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

INSTRUCTIONAL DUTIES

• Assists in planning and preparation for group and individual activities;
• Performs other related tasks as assigned.

OTHER

• Performs some assigned light cleaning, as necessary.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

A. EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE

• No prior experience required;
• Ability to communicate and work well with staff.

B. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift and carry a preschool aged child, if necessary, in case of illness, injury, fire drill, etc.

C. COMMITMENT & DEPENDABILITY

• Willingness to perform as an integral member of a successful team;
• Dedication to providing the highest level of service;
• Adherence to policies and procedures.

TIME MANAGEMENT: Routine work with little planning needed;

STRESS MANAGEMENT: Minimal stress associated with the position;

PUBLIC CONTACT: Interacts primarily with teacher and administration;

LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY: Performs as directed;

EVALUATION PROCEDURE: In accordance with provisions specified in Governing Board policy;

SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Program Teacher and Administrator

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: None.
