POSITION:

  • Summer Bus Washer, Temporary - Potential for Multiple Positions

SCHEDULE:

8 hours/day; 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.; Monday-Friday; 06/29-08/14/2026*

Start/end times may be adjusted based on location need

  • Schedule may vary based on department need and weather conditions

POSITION TYPE:

COMPENSATION:

$17.13/hour; hours are paid the month following when the work is completed

BENEFITS:

Upon reaching 630 hours worked, substitutes will become eligible for and be offered medical, dental, vision, and basic life and AD&D insurance through SEBB

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent; WSP/FBI criminal history background clearance; 18 years old

Assist Transportation department with tasks as directed.

These tasks could include:

  • Wash exterior of school buses and other district vehicles
  • Clean interior of school buses and other district vehicles

Assignments will be made by department directors based on department need.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications as related to the specific positions will be determined through review of the application, availability, reference checks, known ability from past summer employment in the district, and interviews. Must be 18 years old.
