Aurora Township Youth Services Summer Camp Last Revised 3/23/2026

Summer Camp Coordinator The Summer Camp Coordinator will be responsible for leading, organizing, directing, planning, and supervising a wide variety of recreational and educational activities on site at the Aurora Township Youth & Community Center, off site at local/non-local sites, and during field trips. This will include supervising the Summer Camp Counselors in camp programming, facility, sports, games, education, field trips, lunch, and snack activities.

Candidates must: • Possess at least a high school diploma (preferably completed college coursework) and previous supervisory experience working with kids. • Be able to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. • Have CPR, AED, and First Aid certification (training will be provided if needed). • Have the ability to work with a diverse age group and skill level, be able to lift 30-40 lbs., and work in various weather conditions.

Minimum Hourly Rate of Pay: $20.00

Summer Camp Counselor The Summer Camp Counselor primary responsibilities include working with Summer Camp Staff to ensure that the Summer Camp participants have an educational and enjoyable experience with all planned Summer Camp activities on site at the Aurora Township Youth & Community Center, off site at local/non-local sites and during field trips. This will include assisting with washroom breaks, lunch, and snacks activities.

Candidates must: • Be at least 16 years of age. • Be able to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. • Have CPR, AED, and First Aid certification (training will be provided if needed). • Have the ability to work with a diverse age group and skill level, lift 20-30 lbs., and work in various weather conditions.

Minimum Hourly Rate of Pay: $15.00
