Costume Designer for Little Mermaid Jr and Finding Nemo KIDS
Dates: July 6-10, July 13-18
Times: 9am-3pm Mon-Friday (With some flexibility) Performances July 17th and 18th.
Description: Provide costumes for Little Mermaid Jr and Finding Nemo Kids Summer Drama Camps. Working with students aged 8-17. Costumes will be rented as much as possible. The Costume Designer is responsible for organizing, labeling, and assigning costumes to each character. They will be responsible for making sure each student fits into their costume during scheduled camp times and having campers bring underclothes as needed. There will be a small budget for purchasing and creating additional pieces as needed. A cast list for Little Mermaid will be available at the end of the first day of camp. A cast list for Finding Nemo will be available at the end of the day July 13. The Costume Designer will also meet with campers during a workshop period to teach about costume design in general. Previous experience costuming musicals preferred. 9am-3pm are the camp hours, and the Costume Designers schedule can be negotiated within that time frame as needed.
