    Job Summary
    As a Before and After school teacher at Prime Time Children's Center, you’ll help care for children before they get on the bus in the morning and then again after school when they return and on all public school closing days.  You’ll provide a safe and loving environment that nurtures the social, emotional, cognitive, creative, and physical development of each child. 
    Responsibilities 
    • Maintains a safe, comforting and stimulating environment 
    • Facilitates and maintains childcare licensing & accreditation standards
    • Friendly and a desire to work as a team in a rewarding, fast-paced environment
    • Document learning experience through displays, observations and assessments
    • Maintains positive informal and formal communication with families on a daily basis
    • Plans games and engages in activities with school age children
    Qualifications
    • Must be flexible, motivated, love children and eager to learn
    • Must enjoy being outside 
    • Strong verbal communication skills 
    • Energetic, nurturing, positive, child-friendly personality
    • Shows initiative; strong work ethic
    • 45 hour course in Curriculum/ 45 hour course in Child Development/ 45 hour School Age course preferred but not necessary
