Compensation: $2,025 – $2,325 (Seasonal Stipend)

Are you passionate about working with kids, love the outdoors, and want a job that actually matters? Join us at Camp Addisone Boyce as a Unit Counselor and help create an unforgettable camp experience for girls while building your own leadership skills.

This isn’t your typical summer job—you’ll be a mentor, role model, and adventure guide all in one.

 What You’ll Do

  • Build meaningful connections with campers and create a supportive, inclusive environment
  • Lead and participate in fun, engaging outdoor and camp activities
  • Teach basic camping skills and foster a love for nature
  • Help campers grow in confidence, independence, and teamwork
  • Support daily routines including cabin life, meals, and camp responsibilities
  • Ensure camper safety and well-being at all times
  • Assist with waterfront activities and swimming (training provided if needed)
  • Collaborate with your team to plan and deliver memorable camp experiences
  • Participate in weekly Thursday overnight programming

What We’re Looking For

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Current high school student, graduate, or equivalent
  • Experience working with children or willingness to learn through training
  • Positive attitude, energy, and a team-player mindset
  • Passion for youth development and the outdoors

Bonus Points For:

  • Previous camp or Girl Scout experience

 Physical Requirements

  • Able to stay active for long periods in an outdoor setting
  • Comfortable walking on uneven terrain
  • Able to lift/carry 15+ lbs
