Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and experienced music and/or dance instructor for a children's summer program serving ages 3-11. The ideal candidate will be able to create engaging, age- appropriate activities that promote creativity, movement, and fun. 



Responsibilities 

• Choose activities, lessons, and music based on available students age 
• Leading group sessions and fostering a positive and inclusive environment 
• Properly assess the skills of each student under your care, and work with students to develop their individual skills
• Stay up to date with trends in both teaching and the music industry
• Maintain all musical equipment, as necessary

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent leadership and time management skills
• The ability to make decisions under pressure 
• Patience 

Experience with working with young children is a plus, but not a requirement. Background in dance, music, or performing arts preferred.
